Ethan arrives at his therapist’s office feeling rather unwell. Dr. Foxx tries to figure out what’s happening in his life and asks him a couple of questions about his family. The young man starts talking about how his dad recently got married again to a very nice woman, but, for some reason, he feels extremely awkward around her. He can barely speak to her, and even if she is nice to him, he shies away from spending time with her. The therapist quickly realizes that Ethan needs to reframe his relationship with his new stepmom so they can have a healthy relationship, but he needs to break some barriers first. In order to do that, Dr. Foxx pretends to be Ethan’s stepmom and asks him to get physically close to her.
